As a Business Analyst, you'll have the opportunity to provide data analysis to support, compile and report key information for operations and business objectives. You're empowered to do your best!  Use your sharp business analysis skills to support small, medium, and large programs and initiatives for the BA Community, specifically focusing on CDB (Consumer Database), EEMS (Electronic Eligibility Management System) and the eServices Billing (eSB) application suite. This individual will write business requirements, manage issues/questions related to the business requirements throughout the project lifecycle, collaborate with UAT partners to ensure delivery of a quality product and work with their business counterparts on operational readiness activities to ensure the necessary training and policy and procedure updates have occurred.

 

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Develop and document/communicate business requirements

  • Develop and document medium to high complexity business workflows

  • Provide clear description of problems /issues for medium to high complexity problems

  • Present options for problem resolution

  • Serve as a key resource on complex and/or critical issues

  • Solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions

  • Review work performed by others and provides recommendations for improvement

  • May lead functional or segment teams or projects          

  • Assist in estimation of small to medium/large size work effort

  • Establish and manage overall project plans for small to medium/large size efforts

  • Anticipate customer needs and proactively develop solutions to meet them

  • Forecasts and plan resource requirements

Requirements

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

  • 2+ years business analysis experience including the gathering/documenting of business requirements

  • 2+ years of experience working within an SDLC (system development life cycle) methodology including any of the following: Agile, Waterfall, Smart BPM, RSA or equivalent

  • Excellent communication, time/project management, problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills

  • Intermediate level of proficiency with PC based software programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience in the Healthcare industry

  • Previous work with eligibility or billing issues

  • Project management experience

  • Experience working with HP Quality Center or a defect management tracking application

  • Ability to support multiple projects at one time

  • Ability to identify and plan for tasks associated with requirements definition and operational readiness
