Aerotek is looking for a Mechanical Designer to work with our client who is a large industrial manufacturing in the North Central Florida area. This person would need to be familiar with 3D design work for large structures and vessels or tanks.
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in 3D software (Inventor, Solidworks, Pro-E)
- 5+ years of experience with industrial modeling related to heavy equipment, structural supports, valves, manifolds, piping
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Great communicaton skills with engineers and manufacturing personnel
Preferred Skills:
- Experienced with AutoCAD Inventor
- Proficient with designing mechanical components
- Ability to take exisiting drawings and modify or redesign components
- Strong mechanical aptitude
