Description

DISH's Quality Assurance team ensures compliance with DISH's desired levels of quality and service. State-of-the -art QA facilities in El Paso, TX, Spartanburg, SC, Suwanee, GA and Denver, CO use statistical sampling, and advanced quality assurance engineering tools to validate DISH hardware streams before distribution to customers.

The Lead QA Inspector i nspects incoming parts and assemblies, in-process, and/or completed electronic assemblies, sub-assemblies, or finished product.

This position is for 3rd shift:

Sunday: 8:45 PM - 5:15 AM
Monday-Thursday: 9:30 PM - 6 AM

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Education: High School diploma and 6 years experience, AS degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
  • Quality Assurance experience and/or exposure,
  • Thorough knowledge of inspection and assembly practices and procedures.
  • Exposure to metrics, reporting, and testing.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to lift 20 lbs.
Responsibilities
  • Monitors pack out line activities
  • Acts as a resource for technical and procedural questions
  • Tests and inspects receivers and accessories
  • Performs special projects as needed
  • Prepares written reports for in-process inspection, and may make recommendations for procedural changes
  • May lead and train QA I and QA II Inspectors
