We have a full-time opening for a QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR FOR STEEL FABRICATION.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

• Be authorized to work in the United States.

Wage: $14

Qualities needed for entry-level inspector

• Attention to detail
• Ability to follow directions
• Ability to work independently
• Aptitude for written tests on technical topics
• Aptitude for reading drawings and procedures
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Some flexibility in work hours needed
• Experience with welding or steel construction preferred
• Good oral and written communication skills preferred
• H.S. diploma or GED, or ability to obtain GED

ENTRY-LEVEL QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR FOR STEEL FABRICATION:
Verifies conformance of product to contract requirements through:
Dimensional checks
Visual inspection of welds
Nondestructive testing if qualified

Company will provide training, and will also arrange for certification of capable and dedicated individuals in various inspection methods.
