Heavy Equipment Mechanic needed for a construction company based in Frederick, MD. Good starting salary commensurate with experience. Eligible to participate in health and dental benefit programs, as well as company 401(K) plan.
Job Requirements include:
* Two or more years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic
* Experience with CAT equipment (excavators, loaders, dozers, rollers)
* Experience with Kenworth tractors and dump trucks a plus
* Maintain and repair company fleet of ¾-ton and 1-ton 4X4 trucks
* Maintain snow plows and other tools and equipment
* Must possess DOT medical card; CDL license a plus
* Must provide own tools
* Ability to work overtime as needed (including nights, weekends, holidays during snow season)
* Report to Shop Manager/Head Mechanic
