GENERAL SUMMARY:
As a member of the Banana Republic field leadership team, the Merchandise Presentation Lead (MPL) is responsible for assisting the leadership team in executing the store visual merchandise presentation strategy and creating a compelling customer store experience.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drives Business Results
- Assists with implementation of product placement, marketing and promotional strategies.
- Is competent in following and executing visual direction.
- Builds brand loyalty through effective product placement marketing and on brand relevant styling.
Ambassador for the Store and Brand
- Represents brand within their store through merchandise presentation.
- Upholds a high-quality store experience for the external and internal customer.
- Supports and assists in styling and merchandise handling.
- Promotes store involvement in Community in Action programs.
Inspires Team
- Energizes team to achieve results.
Ensures Compliance
- Holds self and store team accountable to all Gap Inc. standards of performance.
Qualification
- Creative ability and knowledge of basic visual merchandise presentation principles.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results through motivation, inspiration and accountability.
- Ability to communicate well with others and provide clarity to the team about the brand vision and day-to-day tasks.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs.
- Ability to maneuver around salesfloor, stockroom and office.
- Open availability to meet the needs of the business, including evenings and weekends.
