Molding Press Technician- Temp to Hire Opportunity for growing company in Agawam, MA

2nd Shift Opportunity

Performs plastic injection molding setup functions according to established procedures. Changes molds, downloads computer programs and optimizes machine performance. Has primary responsibility for the dimensional quality of parts produces. Responsible for starting of new jobs, troubleshooting and resolving process problems and optimizing machine cycles.

Job Requirements

One to two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, quality systems procedures, operating instruction, work orders and procedure manuals.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Ability to speak effectively and train other employees.

Ability to add, subtract. Multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
