Account Manager needed for a national company that promotes the

global retail real estate community.

Individual must live in the Southern California area and will work

from home and report to the corporate offices in New York. Direct

Hire position paying up to $90-100K per year plus bonuses!

This position will perform the account sales efforts of advertising, sponsorships

and exhibit space to key constituents, vital in supporting the relationship and

revenue efforts of the organization. This includes maximizing member,

advertiser, sponsor and exhibitor value, and providing an interface for the

promised deliverables to those organizations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Account Management: Working with members, advertisers, sponsors and exhibitors to manage all deliverables including, but not limited to collecting support materials, providing those materials to appropriate departments and staff, and ensuring those departments and staff are meeting the appropriate deadlines and deliverables.
  • Serve as primary and/or secondary business contact for assigned members, advertisers, sponsors and exhibitors.
  • Work with Director, Global Account Management in developing an account interface strategy, as well as annual goals, budgets and short-cycle forecasts.
  • Work, coordinate and collaborate with international account managers in developing international account programs.
  • Follow key account call schedules and travel for face-to-face meeting and presentations as assigned and directed.
  • Attend events for face-to-face meetings and presentations as assigned and directed.
  • Act as key communications liaison between member organizations, advertisers, sponsors and exhibitors and all related departments and entities affected by the relationship.
  • Develop lasting business relationships with assigned members, advertisers, sponsors and exhibitors demonstrating follow-through, accountability, timely and regular communications, as well as working with other team members to ensure 100% retention.
  • Ensure timely and accurate advertising, sponsorship and exhibitor reporting, relationship contact, contract, agreements and renewals as assigned by the Director.
  • Develops customized member, advertiser, sponsor and exhibitor sales presentations providing them with qualitative and quantitative approaches to creating value for their organizations.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree required, with emphasis in Marketing or Business
  • Min 5 years of related experience working in a fast paced, deadline-oriented sales environment working with several different types of clients is essential.
  • An excellent and open communicator that is comfortable speaking in front of others
  • Excellent financial and analytical skills with demonstrated Advanced Excel reporting knowledge and skill
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software systems and Windows applications; Advanced level experience in MS Outlook, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database systems required
  • Experience in Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, E-communication software, survey software tools, and website development software particularly preferred.
  • Ability to work on own but take direction from superiors and seek assistance when needed.
  • Ability to make appropriate decisions and to know when to refer decisions to others.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and be responsive to emails and voicemails in a timely manner.
  • Excellent communication skills; orally and in writing.
  • Possess strong organizational skills; ability to work with multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality.
  • Accurate and precise attention to detail.
