Job Description
Housekeepers perform any combination of light cleaning duties to maintain private households or commercial establishments such as hotels and hospitals in a clean and orderly manner.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas so that health standards are met
- Observe precautions required to protect hotel and guest property and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors
- Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies using vacuum cleaners and shampooers
- Dust and polish furniture and equipment
- Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy
- Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing, and polishing as necessary
Job Requirements
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs and work with all general household chemicals
- Must be available to work weekends
Ideal Candidates

- Excellent attendance
Pay Rate: $10.00/hr
