Responsibilities

The Manager of Sales Operations position will be responsible for leading and managing a Revenue Retention Team of Sales Operations Analysts within the VES Security Sales Ops organization. This role will own the decisions for revenue growth and retention priorities, and develop and improve operational processes that enable the Revenue Retention Team for success. This role will have a keen focus for the strategy around service renewal, expansion and customer satisfaction programs.

The candidate will be instrumental in developing and driving the Operational Readiness and Business initiatives to exceed objectives within Revenue Retention Team. They will delegate to the team as appropriate and manage cross functionally in order to deliver on performance metrics. A successful candidate will play a key partnership role to the Security sales team as a strategic advisor, and will report to the Managing Director of Sales Operations.

Qualifications

  • Drive effective analysis of service renewal trends and revenue performance in an effort to identify greater efficiencies
  • Manage and develop a team of 5-12 Analysts, drive consistency in messaging and communication and enable the team to deliver optimal performance
  • Manages to adherence of set departmental budgetary parameters
  • Develop, create and manage to an environment that ensures all sales teams are aligned to Verizon’s goals, objectives, and corporate values
  • Analyze sales data and create processes to drive accurate 30-60-90 renewal and revenue metrics
  • Develop and implement comprehensive SFDC funnel reporting tools tracking opportunities from renewal creation to revenue realization, account development and retention
  • Drive efficient & effective renewal processes and measurements
  • Partner and advise on facets of sales planning, inclusive of regular updates to headcount, programs and strategic sales plans
  • Additional duties will include field integration and training, issue resolution, process improvement, project management, and operational execution.

Superior leadership demonstrated through delivering results in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple highly complex cross-functional projects. Must have 2+ years direct project management experience, including strong executive presence and communication

Minimum of 7+ years project leadership experience including direct interaction with Enterprise Customers.

Strong analytical skills with successful experience in securing and analyzing large volumes to data to make decisions for creating and achieving specific operational goals.

Excellent project management, team leadership, interpersonal skills. Knowledge of corporate business strategy, wireline/wireless technology, market and industry trends. Relevant experience working directly with senior executives. Ability to work under pressure of tight timelines. Detail oriented.
