Material Handler

Immediate openings for a Material Handler in a local production facility in Georgia, VT. Candidates in this role will performs general warehouse material handling duties in a safe and efficient manner. Safely operate material handling equipment to include walk-behind and counter balance rider forklifts, as well as palletizing/stretch wrapping equipment. Candidates will ensure that incoming materials and outgoing shipments are handled so as to maximize storage and minimize damage, in accordance with current Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and Work Instructions. This position also includes staging responsibilities.. This means that the chosen applicant will be required to learn to pull products and ingredients from the racks in the warehouse and stage them in correct quantities. Liquefiers then pull the products to start making the product. This positions requires previous experience with staging or inventory and the applicant must be very skilled in math. Candidates will also support the packaging line and the production liquefaction area as required. Minimum Requirements: -Production experience necessary -Must be able to lift 50lbs. -Must have previous fork lift experience -Must be very skilled in math -Previous staging or inventory experience required -Must be able to work noisy conditions while wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) -Must be able to reliably report to work, on time for every scheduled shift. -Must be able to pass a background check (no felonies, no violent / drug related misdemeanors) 2nd Shift: M-F 3pm - 11:12pm
