Description

Customer & Trade Accounting Coordinator

This position is responsible for assisting the Customer & Trade Accounting area with documentation, reporting, and scanning/filing, to ensure we are compliant with GAAP, SOX, and other authoritative accounting policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will be detail oriented, highly self-motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

1. Reporting/Documentation – 10%
• Prepare and support the coordination and documentation of processes, policies and procedures.
• Prepare monthly Balanced Scorecard reports
• Prepare monthly Procurement Reports
Maintain and update SOX control documentation and testing

2. General Administration -15%
• Assist departments with accurately scanning & filing reimbursements
Assist SMA Billing process with copies, filing, and mailings of invoices

3. Accounting -20%
• Key reimbursements and ensure that revisions and reimbursements are within established policy and procedure guidelines as well as contract terms.
• Ensure that reimbursements are paid correctly and in accordance with GAAP and company policy
Prepare and coordinate the Payment proposals from Marketing Funds and TPM (PROBE SAP & MSSI SAP) in accordance with departmental, company and SOX guidelines.

4. Sales Support – 40%
• Ensure all payments over $100,000 have the necessary backup and signatures as required by SOX and company policy.
• Prepare necessary requests or corrections to field requests for vendor set-ups
Direct resolution of A/P inquiries as it relates to CTA transactions

5. Special Projects – 15%
Provide support throughout Customer Trade Accounting for special projects.

Qualifications

Education and Prerequisites:

1. High School Diploma required- or Business related degree preferred and/or 1-2 years experience in Finance or Accounting.
2. Computer literate with knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint and SAP
3. Communication skills, Customer service orientation
