Hand coordination to grasp, push, pull and fine manipulation. Vision, hearing and speech essential. Job requires contact with hazardous materials and work in adverse weather conditions. Job Description:
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
1. Deliver LP Gas
2. Assist in installation of LP systems.
3. Sales floor responsibilities, Loading customer merchandise, inventory control, waiting on customers,
4. Follow safe working rules and practices. 5. Sells petroleum and related products and services
6. Loads, unloads and blends fertilizer as needed. 7. Performs preventive maintenance and makes adjustments and/or repairs .
8. May assist in taking physical inventory.
9. Attends schools and meetings as requested.
10. Adheres to Southern States No Tolerance Policy on Safety and Environment
11.Perform other tasks as needed.
- High School education or equivalent.
- Able to pass background check and drug test.
- 21 years of age or older.
- Must Have a valid Driver's License and a Satisfactory driving record.
- CLD class B preferred or able to obtain
- Able to obtain a fork lift certification
- HAZMAT and CETP endorsements preferred/able to obtain
- Farming background preferred
- 1 or more years of retail experience preferred
