Pitney Bowes is seeking a sales compensation analyst to assist with the development and deployment of sales incentive plan designs, policies and effectiveness analytics.

Primary job responsibilities
  • Develop an understanding of our sales incentive plan structure and corporate goals
  • Assist in annual process of design, modeling and implementation of various Incentive Compensation Programs.
  • Assist with standardization and documentation of compensation procedures.
  • Effectively build and maintain plan documents, presentation materials, and calculators
  • Participate in sales incentive design surveys
  • Design and deploy quarterly sales incentive analytics
  • Develop and improve modeling for effectiveness analysis and new fiscal year plan structural changes, and develop global templates for various sales performance analysis
  • Automate tasks by creating new reporting functionality in the commissions system and using data mining tools
  • Produce sales incentive information using queries, spreadsheets and databases.
  • Conduct detailed analysis and audits to support department needs.
  • Develop new and maintain existing Quota Credit processes, recognize data elements essential to ensure accuracy of sales results.
  • Partners with sales management, human resources, finance and other appropriate internal groups to provide support as warranted.
  • Develops and maintains internal databases, processes, and procedures that support the overall integrity of the data and sales compensation programs.
  • Responsible for Sharepoint site maintenance, access, and support
  • Respond to inquiries from the sales operations regarding calculations, crediting and analytics
  • Other special projects and analyses as requested.

Qualification


Bachelor's Degree required, and a minimum of 4 - 6 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Concentration in mathematics or finance is preferred

Excellent analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking abilities

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required; proficiency in Access a plus

Fluency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and Word is required.

Knowledge of mathematical and statistical computations is required.

The ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with internal and external working partners is required.

Extremely organized with excellent multi-tasking and time-management skills

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, procedure manuals, and process documents

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Can handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.

Adept at summarizing and presenting key metrics to individuals at all levels of an organization

Ability to work independently but also strong team member

Detailed-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities

Background in data and systems preferred

Previous professional experience working in support of sales, sales incentives, or sales operations.
