Support Good Cents Retail Locations - check out customers, stock product onto shelves or in coolers, maintain sales floor standards in produce and meat areas and wrap meat.
Requirements
- Cashier - Ring up customer orders by scanning product or keying price into register, finalizing sale via various payment methods, and bagging product. Follow all local laws on cigarette and alcohol sales, Process returns, Answer phones. Provide good customer service
- Stocking- take product from case and put on shelf, maintain standards in area, block store, follow procedures to ensure out of stock percentage goals are met
- Produce - Rotate and cull displays for freshness,basic cleaning of sales floor, cooler and prep area, proper procedures for scale/tare/temperature logs
- Meat - wrap meat, price product, rotate product for freshness, knowledge of code dating
- Various other functions - retrieve carts, scrub and buff floor by using floor scrubbing machine or propane buffer, return product to shelf, load frozen food product into coolers, unload product from deliveries. Maintain cleanliness throughout store. Comply with all Giant Eagle Safety Standards.
