Production Associates - Full-time / Part-time

Spartan Staffing is seeking qualified candidates for Production Line positions in Shelbyville, IN. Our customer is looking for assembly line workers that can work on a fast paced conveyor line. This is a Long term, position on 1st shift 6 am to 6 pm, and 2nd shifts 6 pm to 6 am , 12 hours per shift . Ideal candidate MUST have a FLEXIBLE schedule! The pay ranges from $16.06 to $16.34 per hour.

Job Duties:

- Fiberglass insulation packing, where assembly line conveyor sends sheets of insulation down to associate- and they stack 3-4 sheets into a automatic baler.

- Supports another end of conveyor line by taking bag and placing the bag over the blower to blow insulation into bag.

- Flexibility to assist with various duties and General Cleanup of job site

Job Requirements: Qualified candidates MUST have the following:

- High School diploma

- Valid Drivers license, Dependable transportation is preferred but not essential. excellent attendance required

- Prior experience with rotational conveyor belt, or manufacturing environment, that is verifiable.

-Ability to demonstrate the willingness and ability to learn new task quickly, Pays attention to details

- Values a teamwork environment and has an up beat personality, respects authority

- Physically fit able to stand, bend, reach and lift 35 -50 lbs continuously during 8+ hour shift in fast pace environment, must pass weight and measurement test.

-Must be able to work in extreme heat in summer and dusty environments, must be able to stack and move product above shoulders

- Safety conscious must wear appropriate safety equipment ( steel toe boots and safety glasses, gloves,)

- no jewelry allowed, no metal objects ( belt buckles, metal buttons etc.) on or near production line.

- Submit to a Criminal Background Check ( high level clearance)

- Submit to a Drug Screen ( hair follicle testing)
