We are currently hiring entry level Production Workers in the Greenfield, IN area for a Keihin - a Tier 1 Honda Supplier! This temporary-to-hire position offers the opportunity to work for a global leader in the automotive industry.
Starting pay is $10.10 to $10.45 per hour. Employees will receive a .54 increase after 90 days, quarterly bonuses, holiday and vacation pay. Positions are on 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift.
As a Production Worker, you have the option to work in a variety of departments; Assembly, Die Casting, Machining and Shipping/Receiving. Production Workers learn skills to move into roles such as, Line Leads, Team Leads, and Supervisor roles.
As a Production Worker you will be:
- Operate Machinery utilized in the production process, or assist machine operators
- Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards
- Lift raw materials, finished product and packed items
- Load and unload items from machines and conveyors
- Assembly of parts
To perform the Production Worker successfully, the following is required:
- Steady work history - manufacturing/production experience not required
- Willingness to learn new skills to effectively perform job duties
- Ability to work 1st 2nd or 3rd shift
- Ability to work in hot temperature environments
