Training Officer (Security)

The Training Officer will facilitate on-the-job training (OJT) to assigned security officers. Candidates should be able to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends or other as requested.We are looking for a friendly team worker who is computer proficient, possesses exceptional written and oral communication skills, and has the ability to multitask, perform well under deadlines, and maintain a high degree of confidentiality as it relates to Human Resources matters. Specific responsibilities include:
  • Coordinates training schedules and conducts OJT for security officers in accordance with contractual requirements
  • Tracks and facilitates monthly, quarterly and annual refresher training
  • Conducts designated training including First Aid/CPR and emergency drills
  • Advises and makes recommendations for continuous improvement to Account Manager and/or General Manager on specialized training, policies, procedure and processes
  • Tracks and coordinates uniform orders with Branch Office
  • Maintains training records and prepares accurate and timely reports
  • Maintains confidentiality of all information and data
  • Performs other operational and administrative functions as needed


Qualifications
A successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • At least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements
  • Possess at least a high school education or equivalent (GED)
  • Demonstrate a stable work history
  • Pass an extensive background screening which includes, but is not limited to, criminal background checks (local, state and federal), drug test, aptitude tests, skills assessment, interviews, and personality profile (behavioral assessment)
Qualified candidates must be currently certified in First Aid/CPR. Ideal candidates will have at least 1+ years of relevant training experience in security or a related field such as military or law enforcement.
