As our Nike Merchandise Coordinator, your goal is to provide product presentation expertise to retail accounts and venues for Nike and possibly other top apparel brands. If you have the skills to support the Nike brand image and work with seasonal directives ensuring the highest standards of visual presentation are reflected at all times, then you’d be a great fit for our team. Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

• Product Presentation Program Knowledge

  • Core & seasonal product category merchandising
  • Installations
  • Special event support
  • New store openings

• Communication & Documentation

  • Communicate accomplishments (department & door level) to NIKE key contacts
  • Planning Communication regarding new store openings or initiatives as needed

• Training & Education

  • Coach & Inspire store associates to maintain NIKE’s retail presence
  • Provide informal education and training to staff as a Nike ambassador
  • Participate, comprehend and retain program training information provided by NIKE

• Location Visits

  • Schedule appointments for visits with proper store contact
  • Timely visit arrival and communication account contact or site manager
  • Shop assessment review
  • Merchandising implementation
  • Review Shop & Merchandising changes
  • Complete Store Visit within 24 hours of visit

Requirements: 

  • 5+ Years of prior retail visual merchandising experience (apparel / soft-lines preferred)
  • Strong merchandising and organizational skills
  • Understanding of special organization and ability to read floor plan layouts
  • Understanding of retail environments and standard processes
  • Ability to comprehend visual merchandising plans and translate into appropriate solutions
  • Ability to function and be productive in an ever changing environment
  • Ability to influence and negotiate 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Reliable transportation – ability for remote travel (air) if required
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills (Excel, email, digital photography, Word)
  • Access to computer and digital camera – high speed internet strongly recommended
  • A Smartphone and/or tablet device is desirable but not required

Physical Ability:

  • Standing, walking – ability to be on your feet for hours at a time
  • Lifting approximately 50 pounds (example: apparel boxes) and reaching and climbing a ladder
