PPG has immediate openings for Casual Production Employees for our East Point, GA facility. This position includes working in a coatings plant performing various jobs to support the production of coatings products.
Casual employees work full-time hours, for a temporary period of time. Starting pay for Casual Production Employees is $11.67, with potential to progress into a Full-Time position, with benefits and earning up to $13.50-20/hour, depending on the position.

- Comply with all plant Environmental, Health & Safety rules & procedures.
- Maintain housekeeping in work areas.
- Ensure communication of problems / issues to supervision, maintenance, and relieving shift.
- Complete required process documentation including batch tickets, etc.
- Operate material handling equipment such as fork trucks, tank movers, worksavers, hydroscales, drum hoists, and drum handlers.
- Retrieve & load pre-assembled raw materials & liquids, as specified on the batch ticket, into mixing equipment or letdown tanks.
- Perform required process checks on batches as specified on the batch ticket.
- May manage hazardous waste as part of daily activities.

Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 years production manufacturing experience.
- Able to work any shift and overtime, including some weekends.
- At least 18 years old.
- Able to lift 50 pounds.
