Interpret
requirements, prepare and submit managed care state filings for multiple
licenses and products, including true individual and association group medical,
dental, vision and pharmacy, and small group fully insured and ASO. 



 



Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Interpret
    new managed care laws and changes to existing laws to determine
    applicability.  Determine processes to be
    implemented; develop implementation plan.
  • Prepare
    filings and information to obtain necessary approvals by state insurance
    departments and/or departments of health.
  •  Prepare
    written responses to routine objections received from DOI/DOH.  Discuss and resolve issues with insurance
    department representatives over the telephone, or if needed, in person.
  • Work
    closely with other business units to implement applicable managed care
    requirements.
  • Maintain
    manuals and documentation outlining compliance requirements and the Company's
    compliance with these requirements.
  • Conduct
    oversight of networks and vendors as required, creating audit reports,
    corrective action plans and implementation of corrective actions, to ensure
    compliance.
  • Participate
    in LRC representing the interests of Health Services relative to managed care
    compliance.
  •  Support
    oversight of networks and vendors, including audit reports and corrective
    action plans.
  •  Monitor
    department regulatory calendar and ensure timely filings and reporting as
    required.




Requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • 1+ year of experience working in a Government or Healthcare environment with experience in regulatory compliance.
