Reporting to the Sales Market Leader
or Manager, the role is responsible for providing support functions to the
market sales team in the tracking of sales processes, performance, and
tracking.  Acts as a resource to select
market clinical step.

Responsible for the daily support of the sales function
to minimize the administrative work of producers. Responsibilities
include analyzing and reporting sales data, communicating changes to
sales plans, providing knowledge about customers and competitors,
communicating pricing data, and managing the operational logistics of
sales meetings and activities. Works closely with sales and other
functional leaders to develop and maintain the operational
infrastructure supporting sales recruiting, goal setting, training and
onboarding, troubleshooting order processing issues and producer
requests, and sales-related information systems and procedures.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Handles application tracking and
    entry into appropriate systems.

  • Inputs lead information in
    appropriate systems and assigns tasks to SAM's and AE based on lead
    activity.

  • Responsible for regular
    documentation processes including monthly Scope of Appointment, Headlth
    Authorization Form, MIPPA and BRC face sheets.

  • Assigns new members into CareOne
    and acts as user support for system to market clinical staff.

  • Ensure proper coordination,
    tracking, and reporting of information – new leads in Census sheet, update
    the CRM Grid and Penetration Grids, Member Retention spreadsheet, new
    member reports from ODS, monthly Member Listing Data Extract, submit BREC
    requests, PCP changes, CareOne reports,

  • Lob OOA CareOne screen shots to
    SharePoint site.

  • Support market sales staff by
    ensuring supplies and collateral are ordered, assembled, and/or provided –
    Sales literature, New Member spreadsheets communicated to staff timely,
    backup for benefit determinations,

  • Participate as a member of the
    sales team in all relevant meetings and calls.

  • Work member issues as needed.

  • Complete sales projects as needed
    to ensure full functioning of market sales functions.
  • Moderate work experience within own function.
  • Some work is completed without established procedures.
  • Basic tasks are completed without review by others.
  • Supervision/guidance is required for higher level tasks.

Requirements

Require Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED.  
  • 2+ years experience in Sales Support or Sales administration.
  • Previous experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree.
  • Alabama Insurance License.
  • Experience in Salesforce.
  • Previous Healthcare sales or Health Plan experience.
  • Proficiency in the use of sales database or other sales supports systems.
