The
Senior Trainer will have the opportunity to affect the delivery of training
programs across a Fortune 25 Organization. This individual will keep abreast of
various training delivery techniques, business processes, products and systems
in specific areas of expertise. This could encompass training of Claims or
Customer Service individuals in the Training Delivery Operational functions and
could include some aspects of the design process.



 



Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible
    for the effective delivery of training programs across the organization
    including ICD-10 training.
  • Keeps
    abreast of various training delivery techniques, business processes, products
    and systems.
  • Develop
    and deliver training program for nurses to obtain coding certification through
    AHIMA and/or AAPC
  • Analyze
    data and develop training programs based on the data.
  • May
    also be involved in the design process.
  • Generally
    work is self-directed and not prescribed.
  • Works
    with less structured, more complex issues.
  • Serves
    as a resource to others.


Requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma/GED AND 5+ years of training experience
  • 3+ years Previous Medical Coding Certification to include the following: CPC, CCS, RHIA, or RHIT
  • 4+ years Previous experience using diagnosis coding data and trends to identify training opportunities
  • 4+ years Previous experience conducting classroom trainings and/or workshops in live and virtual corporate environments
  • Ability to utilize MS PowerPoint to create presentations from scratch, update existing presentations/templates, incorporating multimedia such as audio, video, graphics and animations
  • Ability to utilize MS Excel to create pivot tables, formulas, developing basic reports
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 15% within the US and Internationally

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous Risk Adjustment/HCC Coding experience
  • Previous experience with WebEx or similar virtual meeting tools
