The Crowne Plaza Hotel Downtown Columbus is seeking a full time 3rd shift Night Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position is reliable and has a true demonstrated ability to provide exceptional service and takes pride in providing a superb guest experience. The role of the Night Cleaner is to maintain a clean lobby, entryway, lobby bar and café, employee cafeteria/break room, corridors, pool area, banquet kitchen, employee restrooms and locker rooms, 2nd floor banquet space, and public spaces of The Lofts hotel. 



PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  •  Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel.
  •  Respond to and carry out guest requests.
  •  Cleans and maintains all public spaces including restrooms, lobby, pool, fitness areas, etc.
  •  Cleans and maintains back of the house areas including hallways, stairwells, banquet kitchens, associate locker rooms, etc.
  •  Emptying trash, sweeping/mopping, cleaning windows, etc.
  •  Stock service closets and prepare for the next day's housekeeping team.
  •  Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Must be reliable and fully available for 3rd shift work.
  • Proven customer service skills with relevant experience.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace and correctly follow detailed instructions.
  • Must be able to push, pull, and lift moderate weight.
  • Must be able to bend, reach, and stand for long periods at a time.
  • Position requires ability to lift 50+ pounds.
  • Must have ability to climb ladders.

 

 

  • Previous housekeeping experience is preferred.
  • Previous customer service experience required.
