Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and facilitating programming to meet the need of residents with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia
* Conducting resident health assessments, care planning, and family interviews
* Planning, conducting and implementing staff training and coordinating educational opportunities
* Organizing and leading Resident Aide meetings; and providing written reports
* Hiring, training, scheduling, and directing the work of all Memory Care employees
* Maintaining regular communication with resident family members

We seek the following qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation,an activities related field, healthcare, or geriatrics
* Two or more (2+) years of supervisory programming/activities experience in a health care setting
* Must have experience with Dementia/Alzehimer's with a focus in programming
* Creativity and quality teamwork skills are a must
* Computer proficiency with Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, as well as strong written and verbal skills required
* Must have compassion for and desire to work with seniors
* Flexible with schedule
* Must meet all health requirements, including TB, and pass background checks
