UnitedHealthcare Military and Veterans has an exciting opportunity to
join our company as a Clinical Trainer in our one of our office locations
or from a telecommuting location. This position supports integrated M&V
Utilization and Case Management behavioral health and medical/surgical programs.
These programs provides proactive outreach, engagement, evidence-based
interventions, resources and education to TRICARE beneficiaries, their families
and their healthcare providers to assist beneficiaries with appropriate
utilization of healthcare services and improve adherence with medical treatment
plans. 


 


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Develop, maintain, and conduct  role-based and function-specific training to
    new hire and tenured clinical employees.
  • Develop and facilitate informal learning opportunities such as
    “lunch ‘n learn chats".
  • Manage all aspects of training administrative responsibilities
    such as enrollment rosters, course completion, calendars, survey distribution,
    and tracking learning assessments scores through learning management
    systems.
  • Provide training reports for contract and accreditation
    initiatives.
  • Function within a matrix organization and partner closely with
    M&V teams.
  • As assigned, manage the development of work documentation such
    as standard operating procedures, quick reference guides, and job
    aids.
  • As assigned participate in process improvement projects and
    special initiatives.
  • Serve as a “learning and performance consultant” to Clinical
    Services management.

As
a potential government contractor, this position requires U.S. citizenship and
proof of favorable adjudication following submission of Department of Defense
form SF85P.

Requirements

Required
Qualifications:

  • Current and unrestricted Nursing license or Licensed Social
    Worker, LMSW or LCSW.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 1+ year experience developing and facilitating training
    including the management of the learning environment, a demonstrated
    understanding of appropriate learning metrics used to evaluation learning
    effectiveness, and the application of effective facilitation skills.
  • 4+ years of Clinical Behavioral Health experience required;
    i.e. utilization, hospital, doctor's office, case management, outpatient direct
    care experience, etc.
  • Proven experience of applying, training and coaching others in
    the use of health education behavior models.  
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • United States Citizenship.
  • Ability to obtain favorable adjudication following submission
    of Department of Defense form SF86 NAC form SF86.

Preferred
Qualifications:


  • Master's Degree.
  • Case Management Certification (CCM), TRICARE or managed
    Healthcare experience.
  • Training certifications from ASTD, AchieveGlobal, DDI or other
    nationally recognized consultancy or association.
  • Ability to work individually, within a team, and interface
    with multiple personnel levels.
  • Experience with SharePoint contributor role and Articulate
    development.
