Purpose :

The Online Account Consultant position is a consultative inbound & outbound sales position within our Business Class commercial sales team via marketing web leads & live customer web chat. Individuals in this position may be responsible for Voice, Data and Video sales within our Northeast and NYC markets.

Key Responsibilities :



- Primary responsibility is new customer acquisition and existing customer base within the small and mid-sized business market, via web leads, chat, phone calls &, on occasion, performing customer saves

- Responsible for achieving a monthly revenue quota in Voice, Data, Video, Dedicated Internet Access, PRI (Primary Rate Interface) sales

- Develops customer centric solutions and delivers sales proposals on product benefits and marketplace differentiators

- Clearly understands and communicates the company ' s value proposition Partners with the outside sales teams to ensure complex customer opportunities are properly routed and handled

- Performs outbound prospect calls to assigned marketing/leads list by sales management

- Works with the Account Management team to ensure timely handoff of sold accounts for ongoing management and retention

- Maintains all sales databases necessary to report sales activity and customer information

- Works in conjunction with business services support personnel, including sales support and marketing personnel

- Attends all sales meetings and training sessions as required by management

Legal/Financial Responsibilities :

Requires adherence to Time Warner Standards of Business Conduct. Position must assist in maintaining the confidentiality of customer and business data at all times.

Qualifications/Skill Set :

- Requires two or more years of sales experience, preferably selling Voice, Data, Video, Dedicated Internet Access, and/or PRI (Primary Rate Interface) solutions in the telecommunications market - Prior online and chat experience in selling - CRM tool experience, (Sales Force preferable) - Prior Social Media Skills and Experience - Billing data base experience (Icoms CSG preferable) - Experience with E-tailing or virtual storefronts on web sites with on line catalogs - Experience with gathering the use of demographic data through web contacts - Experience with (EDI) business to business exchange of data.

- Effective time management and organizational skills.

- Working knowledge of computers, computer networking, the Internet and networks preferred, social media, email - Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills required - Requires ability to multitask, as well as work efficiently and effectively within required deadlines - The ability to learn quickly and apply that knowledge, along with the ability to work in a team environment is required - All other Duties As Assigned The above list of duties and responsibilities is intended to describe the overall nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position.
