Packaging Operator - Full-time / Part-time

ManpowerGroup is currently seeking a Packaging Operator to help support our client's team in Chicago Heights, IL. This is a temporary assignment that will last approximately a year. The pay rate is $17.50/hr. Job Description: *Operating granulators/packaging/labeling equipment *Provide packaging services of pharmaceuticals products in accordance to work schedule *Inspect to ensure that packaged products are in acceptable physical conditions for the clients and consumers *Inspect products from packaging lines with respect to the labels, lot number, expiration dates and products physical quality *Perform product bulk filling *Operate packaging equipment and machinery *Assist in the cleaning and assembly of equipment *Maintain registry of the destroyed printed material during the manufacturing process *Pack and palletize *Shrink wrap skid product *Prepare product for destruction Requirements: *High school diploma/GED *BLENDING/BATCH experience, manufacturing is also desirable *Experience packaging and inspecting pharmaceuticals products *Experience operating, cleaning and assembling of packaging equipment and machinery *Must be familiar with general safety procedure and guidelines *Must have a strong attention to detail *Good communication skills required *Knowledge of safe working procedures *Ability to operate forklift / industrial lifts and blending and processing equipment For additional information, please contact yolanda.corley@manpowergroup.com and in the subject line list the name of the position and its location.
