Warehouse Supervisor

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you'll play a key role in keeping things moving smoothly. You'll be responsible for orienting, training and assigning your staff. You'll strive to meet warehouse standards and contribute to strategic planning. By helping to implement production methods to increase productivity, quality and customer-service standards, you will help make business run efficiently. You like learning and relish mastering the shipping system for a new company. You're a go-getter who enjoys physical work and can lift at least 50 lbs. You're no stranger around a computer, either. You're flexible enough to help out where needed and work overtime if required. You have some previous experience with shipping and receiving. Responsibilities: *Responsible for keeping the warehouse environment in full operation while enforcing instructions, troubleshooting issues as well as managing repairs. *Meet financial standards by creating and following planned budgetary objectives, monitoring expenditures as well as identifying any issues that arise. *Maintain employee relations by training and orienting new staff as well as conducting performance reviews or corrective action as needed. *Identify and keep track of inventory needs, schedule inventory transfer and deliveries between warehouses or companies. *As this is an exempt and permanent opportunity, the position is responsible for overseeing groups of workers scheduled for 10 hour shifts beginning on Sunday night at 6:00 pm through Wednesday evening.
