POSITION: Administrative Assistant/Front Desk


POSITION DURATION: Full Time - Temporary to Permanent

SHIFT: 7am-3:30pm


POSITION LOCATION: Phoenix, AZ
Performs administrative and office support activities for facility. Duties may include fielding telephone calls, interacting with corporate office on many tasks, receiving and directing visitors, word processing, filing, and faxing. Extensive software skills are required, as well as Internet research abilities and strong communication skills.

Distribute, collect, review, and forward new hire paperwork to the HR department

Edit and audit employee timesheets for the payroll department

Purchase requisitions

Receive, review, and allocate vendor supplies

Handle the scheduling of steel from mills to shop

Compliance documentation (safety, drivers log, etc.)

Weekly stock reports/inventory database

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Two to four years secretarial/administrative experience in a fast paced environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
  • Effective communication (verbal/written), organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate effective conflict resolution and customer service skills for interaction with customers, tenants, and co-workers
  • Ability to prioritize, coordinate, multi-task, and demonstrate initiative
  • Work well independently and as a team
  • High school and college degree preferred
