Store Manager/ Sales Associate - Full-time / Part-time

Tuxedo Junction was founded in Buffalo, New York in 1969. We started with one small store in a strip plaza. Like many start-up businesses, we had a lot of energy and not much capital. The only advertising we could afford was word of mouth, so we worked very hard to make every customer feel special. That approach is still the basis of our business philosophy. Our mission is to make you look and feel great on your special day. We have grown considerably since 1969 and now operate stores across the USA.

Responsibilities:

• Lead team of part-time associates in the exciting wedding industry.
• Maintain staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
• Maintain store staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
• Monitor cash registers and ensure banks are balanced at end of shift.
• Develop new relationships through networking with other wedding related businesses, hospitality businesses, and high schools.

Qualifications:

• Leadership Skills: You will have to keep your employees motivated and make difficult decisions for them.
• Time Management: You will be working with employees, customers and management and will need to prioritize your time accordingly.
• Personality to handle a high service industry.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
