*Principle Accountabilities:*

  • Be the leader for Stadium Management Sales Team. Showcase efforts to motivate sales leaders in driving new business along with challenging our team to up sell all existing clients. Demonstrate ability to create sales incentives and rewards to drive sales. Be the leader in guest service for the team in ensuring all guests are experiencing exceptional service.
  • Work hand in hand with the Stadium Management Company General Manager to develop, implement and successfully execute strategies for sales growth.
  • Have a strong passion for driving revenue sales and guest service.
  • Take ownership of monthly forecasting of numbers as well as the monthly P&Ls within the Sales Department for Stadium Management Company. You will also be responsible for taking ownership of the annual budget process.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks. This role also calls for the ability to work well with all levels of leadership and associates.

*Essential Job Results:*

1. Leads, supervises, organizes directs, challenges and motivates SMC Sales Team to meet or exceed established sales goals.

1. Personally service as well as successfully lead SMC Sales Team to service existing business accounts, obtains future bookings, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily/weekly/monthly work schedule to call on existing or future potential guests.

2. Continuously improves content, approach and timing of outside sales calls by studying the potential market, consulting with General Manager and making adjustments for continuously improving closing ratio.

3. Sustains an organized approach and keeps General Manager informed by submitting SMC Sales Team activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual segment analysis.

4. Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, competitor deliverables, promotions, etc.

5. Recommends improvements in products, services, packages, promotions by continuously evaluating results, actively seeking guest feedback, and observing competitive developments.

6. Resolves customer issues to sustain long term guest engagement by making improvement recommendations to management.

7. Creates and sustains positive interactions with all associates by being a promoter of Greenleaf Hospitality vision, mission and core values to all colleagues.

8. Continuously improves one’s own professional and technical knowledge and skills as well as SMC Sales Team by attending educational workshops, actively participating in regularly scheduled sales team meetings, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies and seeking additional methodologies.

*Work Environment*

  • Requires car travel independently
  • Long periods of standing, up to 8 hours per day
  • Able to lift 40 pounds on a regular basis
  • Ability to work evenings, holidays and weekends
  • Ability to comply with safety standards

*Experience*

  • Four-year degree from an accredited university
  • Three years of responsible experience in a special events facility or with a sports organization
  • Demonstrated ability to develop corporate sponsorships for events, marketing efforts or related activities
  • Combined education/experience may be evaluated to meet minimum requirements
