Job Summary:

Senior Financial Analyst who will analyze key business performance metrics, provide analytical support to the organization and identify performance improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Supporting the annual financial planning, quarterly forecasting, and long term strategic planning process.
  • Mine data from multiple systems while working with cross-functional teams to develop a process and model to analyze category and customer level profitability and P&L's.
  • Collaborating with key partners in the business to improve business results by recognizing key change levers and making fact based recommendations.
  • Supporting Directors by analyzing competitive landscape and developing business cases that will identify opportunities to drive category growth.
  • Overseeing and supporting the business unit price management process and pro-actively identifying net price management and volume mix opportunities. This includes financial support to ensure customer pricing proposals balance the market and financial needs of the business.
  • Actively working with Sales and General Managers who have business opportunities to improve net price or volume mix management.
  • Analyzing, researching, and implementing best practices as appropriate to support ongoing process improvement.
  • Developing KPIs, analyzing customer and category margins and identifying profit and growth opportunities.
  • Leading other ad-hoc analyses as needed to support the growth and development of the business.
  • Assist in the development of a new financial model for evaluating new business opportunities.

    Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
    • An advanced degree in business is desired.

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a financial role requiring extensive analysis.
    • Experience in a fast-paced consumer products, manufacturing, food service, or consultancy environment is a plus

  • Additional Qualifications - (1) Strong analytical, financial modeling and critical reasoning skills, (2) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, (3) Excellent verbal/written communication skills and the ability to express key points in a concise manner, (4) Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs, (5) Must be a strong team player who is able to work across multiple functions and disciplines, (6) Ability to work collaboratively with all departments, management levels within the company, and external stakeholders.
