Primary Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for day to day operations and tracking all projects across team members
- Mentor and build skills of team members to enhance and continually improve product delivery and the client experience
- Responsible for developing and maintaining policies and procedures that improve team operations and product delivery
- Maintain and deliver on-going performance evaluation metrics
- Provide weekly status reports for all projects in operation within the team
- Accountable for developing and executing action plans to correct and improve project as well as personnel deficiencies
- Responsible for the work flow of all projects
- Interact with customers both internal and external to gather project requirements and act as liaison between customer and design team
- Simultaneously lead several complex projects with varied, multiple deliverables, team members and audiences requiring ongoing prioritization and relationship management
- Communicate job status information to all team members
- Promote smooth workflow and communication between departments
- Create and manage timelines for all projects
- Ensure workflow progresses efficiently and projects/staff are organized as priorities shift
- Maintain job tracking and time keeping database
- Maintain and update project status report and run weekly status meetings
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of experience working on databases, as a DBA or a Database Developer
- 2+ years of experience managing projects using Agile
- 1+ years of experience managing developers
- 5+ years of experience developing data interfaces (ETL)
- 5+ years of experience creating reports using SQL queries or other tools such as Crystal Reports, SSRS, Excel, etc.
- 2+ years of Data Analysis experience (analyzing data and looking for trends and outliers)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Operational management experience (uptime, upgrades, patching, SDLC)
- Oracle and/or MS SQL database knowledge
- Relational data modeling experience
- Data validation experience - knowing various techniques for verifying data integrity using checksums, aggregates, comparison queries, etc.
