Provides analytical and benefits administrative support on all Mergers, Acquisitions and Divestitures for the Health & Wellness team. Provide other benefits analysis support as needed for Health & Welfare benefit programs. Other projects and duties as assigned.


Provide analytical, administrative and implementation support for the design, administration, communication and implementation of Health & Wellness benefits for the UnitedHealth Group employee benefit plans. 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Provide analytical, administrative and implementation support for benefits design and administration of health and welfare benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life insurance and voluntary benefits.  Provide technical review and overall coordination for the annual Summary Plan Description updates. Participate in industry surveys to and analyze results to ensure market-competitiveness of benefit programs.



 

Requirements

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field or related experience.

  • Intermediate proficiency in all Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Power Point and Word.

  • 3+ years of employee benefits and/or health plan experience in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience with benefits administration, HRIS or payroll systems a plus.

  • Certification in Human Resources or Employee Benefits a plus.

  • Experience working in a matrix organization a plus.
