Remedy Intelligent Staffing is seeking an IT Network Professional for our valued client located south of Madison. This is a direct hire opportunity with a growing company in our community. We are seeking a dynamic individual that has a thorough understanding of Computer Operating Systems.
Responsibilities
• Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
• Maintain and update Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems and infrastructure including Active Directory, Exchange, SQL, File Services, Network Services.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and replace defective components when necessary.
• Work with Network Topologies, Virtualization, Design, Infrastructure, Protocols, NOS, (TCP IP), Routers Switches (Cisco Dell), VPN, Server platforms - Active Directory, Windows Servers, SQL Administration, Email Administration, Telephony, and Server Backup Software.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
• Monitor network performance to determine whether adjustments need to be made, and to determine where changes will need to be made in the future.
• Support desktop laptop computers, printers and cellular smartphones.
• Confer with network users about how to solve existing system problems.
Requirements
• High School Education or equivalent; additional education is preferred
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems
• Experience supporting IT hardware is required
• Excellent communication skills is required
• Must have good troubleshooting skills
• Must be organized and have strong time management experience
