Job Description:

The Applications Development Associate supports configuration development, testing, and analysis duties and tasks. He/She performs tasks within planned durations to meet established deadlines. This position will provide configuration, testing, and/or analysis for applications within CLGS space. He/She collaborates with teams to ensure effective communications and to support the achievement of objectives.

This position provides support for applications and business functions. This position interacts with end users to contribute to the development and documentation of solutions. He/She contributes to the project life cycle stages from initial kickoff through implementation. This position participates in building and maintaining cross-functional relationships. He/She contributes to the education and guidance for others on standards and methodology. The Applications Development Associate performs activities of lower complexity under close supervision.

Responsibilities:

Performs Basic Configuration Activities

  • Performs and completes specific configuration activities for CLGS Order to Cash business for supporting client implementations.
  • Provides testing of client configuration functionality to complete and deliver assignments.
  • Follows and complies with specifications, configuration standards, and project guidelines to ensure process integrity.

Assists with Configuration Support

  • Assists in the creation of documentation to meet projects and users’ requests.
  • Interacts with applications team members to acquire functional knowledge.
  • Assist in Configuration Change Management activities to move Configurations to higher landscapes.
  • Assists with applications support to ensure applications’ operability and reliability.

Participates in Analysis and Testing

  • Contributes to the development of business and functional requirements to ensure stakeholder understanding.
  • Supports the analysis of processes of low complexity to ensure accurate documentation of requirements and processes and to complete test coverage and requirement testability.
  • Contributes to test scripts, set-up, plans, data, and updates to support the testing phase and to ensure test requirements are met.

Supports the Analysis and Communication of Business Needs

  • Participates in work sessions to gather relevant information and to ensure understanding of the audience's knowledge.
  • Contributes to the analysis, understanding, and application of the appropriate level of details to ensure mapped solutions satisfy business problems and opportunities.
  • Supports conflict resolution activities to ensure the achievement of common goals.
  • Assists in developing business and functional requirements to ensure stakeholder understanding and to serve as a basis for corresponding work products.

Education:

The desired Applications Development Associate will possess a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics or related field or the equivalent in education and work experience.  A degree is preferred.
