Manpower is currently recruiting for a Sr. Quality Technician position for one of our clients in San Antonio, TX! Responsibilities * Tasked with ensuring fire alarm devices are designated and installed per code requirements, sequence programming, panel startup and download, inspection of wiring and terminations, point to point device testing and sequence of operations testing on fire alarms systems in commercial, healthcare and industrial facilities * Installations may be new construction or existing building retrofit * Have an understanding of low voltage electrical circuitry, trouble-shooting, construction environments and safe work practices * Ability to read and interpret architectural, electrical and mechanical drawings * Ability to read and interpret specifications, single line drawings and schematics for fire alarm * Responsible for ownership of coordination with subcontractors/vendors as applicable and with customers/jurisdictions to obtain completion sign-off * Keep all project documentation update to date * Plan, schedule and communicate job details with project manager * Demonstrate the 12 behaviors; especially Growth & Customer Focus, Getting Results, Effective Communication, and Technical or Functional Excellence * Work with and without direct supervision * Able to work flexible hours to accommodate project construction schedules and requirements (which may includes weekends and evenings or off-shift hours) Basic Qualifications * High School diploma/GED * 2 years of experience programming fire alarm systems * Texas State Fire alarm License * Experience with low voltage electrical systems * Demonstrated ability to use hand tools and test equipment such a DVM and wire toner * Valid drivers license and safe driving record * Ability and willingness to travel both locally to project sites with overnight up to 50% as work load demands Preferred Qualifications * Associates Degree or Technical Certification * Familiar with NFPA 72 and working with AHJ or OSHPD entity * NICET I or II certified * Knowledge of fire alarm systems, smoke control a plus * Strong organization and time management skills * Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines * Working knowledge of personal computers, servers and computer based tools * Experience with systems such as Notifier, Silent Knight, Fire-Lite, EST2/3, IP, and BACnet systems Contract Length: 10 months Pay: $26.44/hr For additional details on this role contact: Annie Kulhanek Email: anne.kulhanek@manpowergroup.com Please go to www.manpowerjobs.com and create a profile with us and contact this recruiter directly.
