Job Description

Will be working in the hospital cleaning out patients rooms may as well as surgery rooms and emergency rooms. Making beds taking trash out.

This position will include duties as follows:

• Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments
• Fill cart with supplies and transport the cart to assigned area
• Enter guest rooms following procedures for gaining access and ensuring vacancy before entering
• Replace guest amenities and supplies in rooms
• Replace dirty linens and terry with clean items
• Make beds and fold terry
• Clean bathrooms. Remove trash, dirty linen, and room service items
• Check that all appliances are present in the room and in working order.
• Straighten desk item, furniture, and appliances. Dust, polish and remove marks from walls and furnishings.
• Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties (e.g. in guest rooms and hallway).
• Ensure uniform and personal appearances are clean and professional
• Maintain confidentially of proprietary information
• Speak with others using clear and professional language
• Support team to reach common goals. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards

 

Job Requirements

• Prior housekeeping experience a plus
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure
• Self-motivated
• Detail oriented
• Well groomed, professional appearance. Khaki pants, White Polo shirt, Non-Slip shoes
• Tuberculosis (TB) Skin Test
• Flu Shot
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public
• Background Check and Drug Screening required

Pay Rate:  $7.25 per hour

Shift/Hours:  Various Shifts and Hours
