With a mission to preserve, protect and inspire, Grand Teton Lodge Company is the concessioner in Grand Teton National Park operating the lodging, restaurants, tours and activities at Jackson Lake Lodge, Jenny Lake Lodge, Colter Bay Village, Jenny Lake and Gros Ventre campgrounds as well as the Jackson Hole Golf & Tennis Club, which is located just outside the park in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

The Pioneer Grill Manager is responsible for the successful operation of both the Pioneer Grill and Coffee Cart operations. The Pioneer Grill manager, along with two Assistant Managers, ensures prompt, accurate service with anticipation of and compliance with all guest needs.

DUTIES
  • Implement the opening and closing procedures of the Pioneer Grill and Coffee Cart.
  • Perform basic management functions (manage staff, discipline staff, schedule employees, complete payroll etc.)
  • Schedule staff and ensure adequate staffing levels, while adhering to budgeted guidelines.
  • Assist directly with Food and Beverage service as necessary.
  • Work closely with the Culinary Team and communicate all menu concerns, service timing, and special requests.
  • Requisition needed food, beverage, and non-food supplies.
  • Conduct initial and ongoing training of all Pioneer Grill and Coffee Cart staff including but not limited to servers, bussers, cashiers, and baristas.
  • Organize staff sales incentives.
  • Hold daily Pre-Shift meetings.
  • Maintain a positive and professional rapport with all staff and customers.
  • Work closely with the kitchen to ensure that food is prepared of high quality and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that service from the take out window is conducted efficiently.
  • Attend meetings as required.
  • Handle guest complaints and promote a positive work environment.


**Our season is typically May through October.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Previous Food and Beverage management experience
  • Point of Sale experience
  • Excellent people and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Able to work long hours and varied shifts


PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • High volume restaurant experience
  • TIPS Certification
