The Credit Card Department Analyst is responsible for the accounting reconciliation process of credit card transactions for the organization. He or she is also a critical contributor to the overall effort to implement automated matching and reconciliation through the Total Reconciliation system.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Completion of account reconciliations of credit card receivables for VRI consolidated entities on a daily basis
  • Continue to develop T-Recs functionality for all credit card reconciliations to gain efficiency and automate the processes
  • Familiarity with merchant card providers and processors to resolve issues, system requirements, review feeds and setup of new Merchant IDs
  • Maintain positive and productive communication with internal customers, outside vendors including banking relationships and credit card processors
  • Assist with the chargeback process on an as needed basis


Requirements:
  • At least 2-3 years' experience in an accounting or book keeping capacity
  • Associates Degree or similar experience in accounting and reconciliations
  • Advanced MS Office knowledge, ability to quickly become familiar with new systems and functionality
  • Familiarity with merchant card providers and processors to resolve issues, system requirements and review feeds
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, detail-oriented & a positive attitude are critical
  • Ability to work independently and produce results
