Looking for a job that nurtures the soul? Every day, our CAREGivers enhance the lives of our elderly clients. Many of our clients just need an hour or two of help in the morning or the evening. If these types of short shifts fit into your schedule, and you are a natural with seniors, we'd love to meet you!
You may have discovered your knack for seniors by caring for an aging family member, or you may have cared for seniors professionally. Either way, we admire you and believe you have a special gift! Not everyone is great at providing that loving care to seniors and relating with them the way you can.
We are looking for applicants with practical caregiving experience, but we don't require medical certifications or extensive health care experience. We provide all the training and support you'll need to make a meaningful difference for local seniors and their families.

PICTURE YOURSELF AS A HOME INSTEAD CAREGIVER!
Your first question may be, "what does the job entail?"
On short shifts, you help our clients for 1 or 2 hours at a time, usually to get up and ready for the day or to get ready for bed at night. The shifts are usually between 7-11 a.m. and 4-10 p.m. The pay is $12 per hour. We appreciate your availability for both weekday and weekend service.
There are many ways you will make a difference for our senior clients and their families:
-Companionship
-Light Housekeeping and Laundry
-Meal Planning and Preparation
-Driving to Appointments and Shopping
-Ambulation and Transferring Assistance
-Medication Assistance and Administration
-Bathing and Dressing Assistance
-Toileting and Incontinence Assistance
-Cognitive Assistance and Verbal Cueing

-Minimum age of 21
-Willing to undergo background checks and drug screening
-Very helpful if you can drive in order to get to clients' homes
-We are not fans of visible body art (tattoos), facial piercing, extreme hairstyles, etc.
