Posting Job Description

The purpose of the Manager, Account Management, Verticals position is to Manage the day-to-day operations of a team of sales base management account reps within the West Region for Time Warner Cable business class. A successful Sales Manager will be able to effectively lead their team to regularly exceed the Business Class sales quota objectives, assigned to this sales team. Also, build/maintain a think customer first culture that exudes world class customer service. A successful candidate will achieve all desired objectives through continuous operational enhancement, attentiveness to their team that drives performance and processes adherence, and collaboration with other teams.

Essential Job Functions:

- Coach, train, and lead your team of Account Manager 2 representatives to increase productivity and maintain sales goals

- Maintain productivity in the Field Sales department by maintaining and growing the assigned existing customer base

- Design and implement department programs to motivate and recognize employees on a daily basis

- Set goals and objectives for the assigned Account Manager 2 ' s

- Identify and implement ways to increase productivity and performance for the Account Manager 2 ' s.

- Ensure Account Manager 2 ' s are sufficiently trained in the necessary functions and products in order to guarantee all work is completed accurately and in a timely manner

- Real-time continuous evaluation and coaching of representative performance

- Work with management to track and improve representative and lead performance as it pertains to sales quotas, and retention of the assigned base of customers.

- Responsible for motivating the assigned Account Manager 2 reps to be accountable for exceeding individual and team sell-in, adherence, quality, and customer service established goals

- Support recruitment and training efforts to develop and retain a strong sales force

- Communicate all performance/development objectives to the team

- Provide escalation assistance to representatives with complex troubleshooting situations

- Help coordinate the implementation of Business Class new products, services, and technologies.



Job Requirements:


- High school diploma or general equivalency degree required, BS desired

- 2+ years leadership experience in Managing a team of field sales reps, or base management reps

- 2+ years B2B direct sales experience within telecom, cable, or broadband industry

- Experience troubleshooting high-speed Internet, phone, video over cable strongly desired

- Advanced PC skills with strong MS Office expertise

- Adaptable to flexible schedules based on business needs

- Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business dictates

- Ability to work extended hours on an as needed basis

- Leader with nonstop energy that can motivate a sales team

- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem solving skills

- Familiarity with ICOMS,, Salesforce or other call tracking software is a plus

- All other Duties As Assigned
