Production Workers at JAC Products

Manpower, Inc. of SE Michigan is currently seeking production associates to work for our client, JAC Products, in Saline, Michigan. These are full-time openings available on first and second shifts, working 40+ hours a week. Starting pay as a Manpower temporary associate is $10.00 per hour. Associates with great work performance may be considered for hire after 90 days with a pay increase to $10.48 - 11.30 per hour after 90 days …and the potential to earn up to $14.28 per hour in the first year! Job duties include, but are not limited to: * Working on an assembly line, at a machine, or at a workstation producing a variety of products. * Preparing work to be assembled by studying and understanding instructions, drawings, and parts lists. * Gathering necessary parts, tools, and materials to perform assembly. * Assembling components by hand or using tools/machinery while following a set of standard directions. * Inspecting and verifying completed products meet documented specifications. * Maintaining a clean and safe work station/environment by complying with procedures, rules/regulations, and safety guidelines. * Documenting products assembled on work orders or other production forms. * Communicating with team members and management, participating in problem-solving, and providing feedback/recommendations. Preferred qualifications: * High school diploma or GED. * Six months of previous work experience, preferably in a manufacturing or production setting. * Experience working in a plastic manufacturing environment a plus! * Ability to follow a set of specific instructions. * Good hand dexterity and ability to use basic tools to assemble parts. * Ability to do repetitive work, stand for long periods of time, and lift up to 50 pounds. * Ability to work a flexible schedule including a variety of shifts, on weekends, and overtime if needed.
