Warehouse Specialist

This position requires an assortmentof warehouse duties and familiarity of policies and objectives. Required tooversee the quality of product shipments and other support functions inrelation to the facility.

Dutiesand Responsibilities

• Handling of dispatch and received material and the systematic storage of the same.

• Verification of the materials against relevant documents.

• Keeping note of all damaged, surplus, and missing inventory.

• Ascertaining the proper labeling, tagging and packaging of materials.

• Examining all stored material and ensuring the quality and standard of the goods as per the warehousing norms.

• Routing goods and supplies to the necessary destinations as per schedule.

• Making evaluation and inventory reports and conducting timely audits.

Skillsand Specifications

• Should have excellent administrative, management, and decision making skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills and good interpersonal skills.

• Ability to efficiently manage time and meet all deadlines.
• Compute experience including Word and Excel.

Job Requirements

Education and Qualifications

• Degree in management, Logistics, supply chain or any related field of study from an accredited institution a plus.

• 3 to 5 years in warehousing or retail management related activities.
