SUMMARY

The Time Coordinator position is responsible for the oversight and data accuracy of the time management processes and data accuracy used to manage and pay the US employee field locations. The main objective of the Time Coordinator is to ensure that time card rejections are corrected and edits are executed according to company policies, standards and strategies. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Adheres to SYKES policies on ethics and integrity.
  • Responsible for accurate and timely reporting of the time management processes for hourly US employee field locations utilizing the time system tools: o
  • Monitor and report the adherence to daily time management processes in timekeeping and attestation. o
  • Review and update/edit employee time data to ensure the completion of all information required to execute employee time card edits (e.g., notes and comments fields). o
  • Perform corrections to employee time data when the time card is rejected by the employee ensuring the completion of all information required to execute employee time card edits (e.g., notes and comments fields). o
  • Evaluate and correct possible missed errors (e.g., exceptions, missed punches, unpaid breaks, incorrect time codes, rejection codes, changes). o
  • Monitor time transactions for issues leading to under or overpayment (i.e., the deletion and addition of time) o
  • Maintains employee badge information and updates as needed. o
  • Monitor overtime and the accuracy of activity codes on the time cards. o
  • Reconciles Agent phone hours to their clocked hours. o
  • Effectively communicates with Operations management to identify processing issues and/or areas of concern and help resolve overall data issues. o
  • Works daily with supervisors and employees on time discrepancies. o
  • Produces weekly change reports to communicate to internal stakeholders the time card edits made during the period. o
  • Manages outstanding corrections and works with HRSC Time Coordinator to ensure all corrections are completed before payroll close.
  • May perform other additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

None Yes (See "General Management Duties and Responsibilities" addendum) EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or GED required. Three to six months prior experience required. Experience with Kronos or other enterprise time management system highly desired.

  • Detailed oriented, accurate and ability to meet deadlines

  • Familiarity with Kronos or other time management system
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with supervisors and other team members
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Suite
COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, corporate procedures/regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. PHYSICAL DEMANDS
