The Pharmacy Technician is
responsible for answering incoming calls/completing outbound calls
to/from patients, physicians and pharmacists while ensuring a high level
of customer service and maximizing productivity.

Responsibilities:

  • Entering prescriptions and verifying appropriate information
  • Contacting patients, pharmacists and doctor's offices to resolve claims issues
  • Processing prescriptions (from intake to order completion)
  • Resolving customer issues; ensuring accurate information is provided
  • Constantly meet established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards while maintaining a good attendance record

Requirements



Qualifications:


  • Licensed Pharmacy Technician is required
  • Pharmacy/ prescription data entry experience preferred
  • Familiarity with computer and Windows PC
    applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex
    computer system application
  • An education level of at least a high school diploma or GED OR 10 years of equivalent working experience
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Available to work 40 hours per week and overtime as required according to the needs of the business
  • Ability to remain focused and productive each day though tasks may be repetitive

  • Available to work 40 hours per week within the operating hours of the site of Monday through Friday 7am to 7 pm.


  • English/Spanish Bilingual Preferred


 


Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
  • Frequent speaking, listening using a headset,
    sitting, use of hands/fingers across keyboard or mouse, handling other
    objects, long periods of close vision looking at a computer monitor
  • Service center environment with moderate noise level due to Representatives talking, computers, printers, floor activity
