Job Summary

The Sales Support Specialist processes general office duties that include, but are not limited to, customer concerns, internal audits, back office process compliance, and Sales Lead Incentive Management (SLIM) system. The Sales Support Specialist oversees the Business Development administrative personnel. 

Job Duties

Compiles Sales Reports

  • Produces sales reports for the field as required.
  • Prioritizes sales support workloads to ensure volume and revenue reports are completed in a timely manner.
  • Coordinates sales data requests for the Sales Support Supervisor.
  • Conducts meetings with stakeholders to discuss data findings and obtain feedback.
  • Creates stakeholder correspondence to convey report findings.

Monitors Compliance with Processes and Procedures

  • Oversees administrative support and dispatch to ensure completion.
  • Conducts internal audits for the back office to ensure compliance.
  • Ensures back office processes are timely, complete, and compliant with corporate guidelines.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert for the SLIM application and process to ensure proper use

 Supervises and Develops Others

  • Determines employees’ training needs to produce continuous development plans.
  • Provides on-going feedback and support to improve performance.
  • Conducts performance evaluations in a consistent, fair, and objective manner to encourage continuous performance improvement.
  • Holds others accountable to established performance levels to achieve individual and group goals.
  • Resolves individual and group performance issues in accordance with UPS’s policies and procedures in a timely manner to motivate and foster teamwork.
