Millwright

A prestigous company in the Savannah area is seeking experienced millwrights/multi-craft mechanics for a permanent opportunity. Candidates will be installing, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial process equipment.

Qualifications:
- 7+ years as a Millwright in a heavy industrial environment ( pulp/paper mill or chemical is preferred)
- Experience with maintenance type repairs and troubleshooting of equipment such as pumps, bearings, chains, sprockets, shims, drive gear boxes, ratio gear boxes, conveyors, agitators, and mechanical drives
- Knowledge and experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic controls
- Experience welding parts back together
- Knowledge and experience reading and understanding blueprints and drawings
- Be able to work 1st shift but open to any shift
