Searching for an exceptional Junior to Mid-Level Visual Designer to focus on our large portfolio of collaboration products. Day-to-Day

The User Experience Design Group is seeking a Visual Interface Designer who possesses a passion for great design, a superb aesthetic sense, an exceptional eye for detail, and a deep appreciation for simple solutions to complex problems. As a Visual Interface Designer, you strive to find simple and elegant visual solutions for complex interfaces in our fast-paced environment. You will be creating visual mockups following the directions provided by the Design Lead, and collaborating with product managers, engineers, and the rest of the UE team throughout the stages of the product cycle.


Strive for the highest level of user experience quality in both interaction and visual design for product requirements
Broaden the level of consistency across all avenues & touch points of the product (pages, clients, pt, mobile platforms, etc)
Continued integration with CTG software product suite
Contribute to level 2 thinking for how the product adopts trends and newer technology and platforms
Continued migration to align with Futurama archetypes and visual definitions as well as explore items not defined and/or applicable to product-centric requirements
Prototyping concepts
Design asset delivery and implementation style guides
Visual QA and Implementation QA
Drive cross BU collaboration where product lines intersect

Must Haves
-1-3 years of industry experience in interface or visual interactive design
-Understanding of interface design best practices for the web, mobile and desktop platforms
-Capability to assess technology constraints and opportunities and adjust design approaches accordingly
-Effective problem-solving abilities
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently
-Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Fireworks, Photoshop, and Illustrator) and other design tools, as well as basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
-Degree in visual design, human factors, or interaction design (or equivalent experience)
-Passion to work and grow in the realm of user-experience design
